My name is Anderica Gilbert and I’m a dental technician who’s passionate about serving the community and exploring growth and expansion in my field. I was born in Bermuda and raised in the United States where I discovered my passion for dentistry. In 2004, I moved to England where I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University, class of 2011, after completing my Bachelor's degree in Dental Technology. I decided to return to Bermuda to explore my opportunities while being closer to my family.
After moving back home, I continued to expand in the dental field by working as a dental technician, assistant and administrator. One employer helped me along my entrepreneurial journey when she offered me the space to expand and use the dental lab skills I had spent so much of my time crafting. I began doing dental repairs on the side and reinvested what I earned into my business which allowed it to grow. Eventually, I was juggling working full time while also running my dental lab. As time went on, the demand for services steadily grew as I serviced several local dental offices. In 2018, I was honored with winning the Entrepreneur of the Year Award, which inspired me to dive into being a self employed dental lab owner and technician.
Today, I focus my efforts on creating high-quality products and building lasting trustworthy relationships with the dentists I work with. My goal is to modernize the dental tech industry in Bermuda by focusing on high-quality products, keeping up to date with new technologies, and constantly committing myself to providing the best service possible.
I’m passionate about creating a stable and successful lab that services Bermuda that allows me to support the people I work for. I generally don’t have the opportunity to meet the patients who receive my products. However, I still see them as family, and I do my best to make sure they feel well taken care of by delivering top-quality products that support their health and wellbeing. It’s my hope that finding success in this field will inspire future generations of Bermudians to follow in my footsteps by taking interest in such a fulfilling and meaningful career.
