Anderica Gilbert, BSc (Hons)
Anderica grew up in Bermuda and returned after completing a BSc (Hons) in Dental Technology at Manchester Metropolitan University, one of the UK's leading programs in the field. She founded Bermuda Dental Studio in 2018 to bring a genuinely modern dental lab capability to an island market that had been underserved by digital technology.
In 2018 she was named Bermuda's Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2026, she expanded BDS capabilities to include in-house milling and advanced digital production, bringing a level of clinical precision to the lab that most independent technicians never access.
She continues her education at LMT LabDay Chicago and has completed advanced courses in the Candulor denture system (lingualized occlusion, physiologic setups) and the Ivoclar two-day program on complete dentures with the IvoBase system.
Digital production, local delivery
BDS produces milled and 3D printed prosthetics locally in Bermuda. Fixed restorations sourced through our US clinical partnership arrive on-island and are inspected before delivery — with contact and shade adjustments handled locally if needed.
Every case, whether produced locally or through the Epic partnership, is held to the same clinical standard before it leaves our hands.
Epic Dental Studio, Utah
Epic Dental Studio is a NADL-certified laboratory in Utah producing zirconia, lithium disilicate, e.max, and implant-supported prosthetics. BDS has a formal joint venture agreement for consolidated case submission — multiple Bermuda practices benefiting from the same pipeline.
Cases are submitted digitally, produced in Utah, shipped to Bermuda, and inspected on arrival. Contact and shade adjustments are handled on-island if needed before delivery to referring practices.
